Morrigan’s mind is sufficiently broken by Rin’s extensive amounts of neglect and abuse. It’s difficult to see if there is anything that could possibly fix Morrigan… In the meantime Cloud tries her best to soothe Morrigan’s mental state by treating her as an equal, bringing her food and addressing her as royalty. Morrigan may never escape from her broken mind, but Cloud is there to shower her in much needed love and care.
