Rin has spent months studying the concept and alchemy behind Morrigan’s Darkness Illusion technique and uses that to “create” her “children”. She usually either uses a clone of herself or a clone of Morrigan as a base body before adjusting it how she likes. Rin lays the body into a shallow bath of potions and relaxants while creating the essences in a separate cauldron. The essences of the people she wants to combine consist of a physical trait (hair, skin, spit, etc.) and a cross section of the subject’s soul, which determines the final creation’s personality.

Since Rin has done so much research in manipulating gender and genitalia, she leaves the sex of her creation for last and adjusts the height and weight of her subjects based on the concentration of certain potions in the shallow bath she lays the body in.

She eventually pours this cauldron essence mixture into the pool and electrifies it until the mixture fuses with the body to create her “children”. She likes having either Lucian or one of her slaves helping her with the process so that she doesn’t mess up the creation. In fact, Lucian went through several drafts before Rin was happy with her son.
