Rin mixes personalities based on how much of each soul essence she takes. When she was making Lucian, she mixed in a LOT of Kyo and Claire (because she adores how classy but reserved they are) and only a tiny bit of Jasper to liberate his sexuality. However, she was careful not to use too much of Jasper as she did with her earlier drafts of Lucian, who turned out to be borrish and rude, as well as unkempt, which make up the other side of Jasper’s personality. She ended up releasing her earlier drafts of her son into the wild, feeling as though being of “goddess blood” made them “too precious for death”. Classic Rin rhetoric…
