1. I’d ship them too, she might’ve let Rin go the first time because she had some hidden romantic feelings for her.
2. Morrigan Aensland was a succubus who has unknown origins. However, it’s heavily rumoured that she was a denizen of the underworld who escaped through a dimensional rip created by someone else within. While her origins are foggy, she has quite a history in the overworld for harvesting souls. She mostly did this in attempts to become fully human, missing certain spiritual portions due to her fabled birthplace. Always seeking more earthly properties she would conduct harvesting through her most expert means, seduction.
In many of the villages Morrigan wandered to, she would become romantically involved with the generals, mayors and chieftains. Upon gaining their trust and potential hand in marriage, Morrigan would then steal their souls, loot their riches and destroy the town, burning it to the ground. After each time she did this, her more devilish goal of conquering the region began taking shape. With enough good to her name, Morrigan bought a large castle, the Morrigan Aensland Estate overseeing a very populated market city (which holds Tanya’s popular bar, Yagami and his wife, Nerel’s humble band of alchemists and what would eventually become Ivy’s Rosebud Brothel).
In order to maintain such a large and vast living space Morrigan employed the help of Cloud, a previous housemaid for a wealthy family of silk traders, offering Cloud such a high salary that she would be foolish to refuse. Other than occasionally clashing with the Cryomancer of the north and her two sons Kyo and Slash Kusanagi, Morrigan was slowly kidnapping townspeople and harvesting their souls in order to either serve her or to become husks.
One night, Morrigan was of great And drunken hubris cackling to her maid, guzzling gallons of wine and praising her own strength and beauty. Having collected so many human sprits within her, she attempted to create a perfect clone of herself, seeking to use her to conquer another populated town (one that Lilith would eventually flee to upon Morrigan’s attempted cloning). The technique known as darkness illusion was only tried twice in the long standing Aensland bloodline, with Ankura dating the last attempt being 400 years ago. Morrigan failed at cloning herself, while she did make a copy, this copy was abnormally tall and incredibly hefty.
The clone also spoke to Morrigan as equals and sometimes as a superior, which made Morrigan chuckle seeing it as, “adorable”. Morrigan thought nothing of her clone, seeing her bloated frame, large mammories and girthy penis as a perfect sex toy, someone she can chain up in her basement dungeons, drain her seed and use her as a plaything. Morrigan spared her failed clone, keeping her in a guest room, completely free to roam about. One night, her clone was acting very strangely horny, she barged into Lilith and Morrigan’s master bedroom and overpowered them both. After subduing the sisters, Morrigan’s clone took them to the very basement that Morrigan was planning on using HER in and took control of the estate herself. Lilith, using her petite size and cunning, managed to escape Morrigan’s clone’s grasp, (now christening herself “Rin Aensland” after her now captive creator). Upon seeing this, Rin was not pleased at all, breaking into a fit of rage that led to her beating Morrigan in response to her sisters escape. After a few days passed, Rin opted to leave no loose ends with the other Aensland, severing her back and head wings as well as striking Morrigan with blindness.
By this time, Morrigan’s mind was completely broken, with Stockholm Syndrome setting in, after a while, she began thanking Rin for humbling her as much as she did. Morrigan’s original dreams of conquest were adopted by Rin, with her clone taking complete control of her estate, her subordinates and all of the souls she harvested.
