Lucian knows what Rin told him. She told Lucian that she keeps mommy Morrigan in the basement because she wasn’t a nice lady long ago. Lucian knows he’s related to her, but he doesn’t fully understand why Rin chains her, refuses to bathe her and feed her scraps.

Lucian doesn’t understand that having such a date would be a problem, he only knows that “mother said that mommy Morrigan did a bad thing” and that spending too much time with her would anger his mother. Since he adores his mother so much, angering her would make him cry and feel depressed. Lucian never wants to provoke or anger Rin, he loves her too much, but he also enjoys spending time with his “mommy” Morrigan.
