I’ve been busy working on other projects, mostly writing, so I’ve been a bit behind on my routine of practice. So here is sketch number 3 that I worked on over the weekend of another Asa work. This is one was kinda complex to draw because of the fact that the original work had a lot of lines that were really difficult to follow due to the amount of shading and different color tones used in the original reference. The most prevalent aspect of that was with the hair hence why it looks so messy (that and I’m still working on improving the quality of my lines).
Regardless, I’m satisfied with what I managed to pull off with this one. It was a pain in the ass and I needed to do some fixing with the eyes (another detail I’m improving on) but hey, practice is practice. That’s another one down so onto the next one!
