When Morrigan doesn’t request her favorite slice of bread from Rin, she usually is served the leftovers from the night’s dinner. There’s often just enough food to satisfy her appetite, but yes, it’s usually a mushy mess of whatever the other residents enjoyed. By the time they reach the dungeons, it’s lukewarm and dried, especially the vegetables.

Cloud will occasionally sneak a nicely fixed plate of dinner to Morrigan whenever Mila fixes a plate for her “son”, the toy doll she carries around. The plates that Cloud gives Morrigan are usually fresh, hot and neatly prepare, which confuses her to the point where Morrigan will spend hours blankly staring at it, feeling ashamed and guilty eating it.
