Most of the students like Beatrix and Lucian around Gorthmire Academy, with the two being especially liked amongst the groups their traits attract, Beatrix is liked by the jocks and roughhousers and Lucian by the chess club and the studious types.  However, every once in a while, some of Beatrix’s cliques give Lucian trouble for wanting to wear the girls’ uniform and will tease him about his poor performance in the physical education classes. 

The usual mocking revolves around him not being “strong enough” or being a “wimp”.  But Beatrix doesn’t take any of this laying down and steps up for her brother whenever they tease and hit him.  She doesn’t like her brother being prodded over dressing in what makes him happy and will come to his aid with some pretty strong threats, having the torque in her legs to live up to them.  Lucian’s teachers don’t mind his crossdressing at all and are very happy to accommodate Lucian’s requests.  In fact, the first day that they arrived for enrollment, Rin brought him in his weekend dress and personally asked the Dean, teachers and faculty to let him wear the girl’s uniform instead of the boy’s uniform. 

Otherwise, the two get along quite well with the rest of the student body!
