Lucian Aensland is quite an interesting character right down to his inception. The boy is a bred shut in who only knows his mother, her friends and her droves of residents. He keeps himself occupied with books on romance and love while never having a reason to actually see more of the world other than what Rin filters to him.

He’s delicate and meek because he’s never been teased or bullied and has a glass personality. His skin is almost sheet white from how much he sits and reads, and because of all of this, combined with his more haughty of the essence combinations, he’s a GIANT momma’s boy. He loves Rin very much, giving her plenty of hugs, perching on her lap and reading to her. Lucian even mimics her feelings, if mother is crying, he’s also crying, if she’s angry, he pouts, and his mother provides him with plenty of attention and good will. She adores how happy her son is to be whoever he wants to be within her little castle. Indeed the enrollment in school will help him see the world in ways that Beatrix has already began seeing.

Surely he’ll soon gain the moral confidence to help his mommy share a life with Ms. Strife. But it would definitely be the most confliction the boy has ever had to experience oin his incredibly sheltered life, doing something against his cherished mother’s wishes.
