So the strong threat of eviction is hanging over my head

I don’t think it’s safe to be at my place anymore. A new roommate, someone I thought I could trust, is actively trying to get me evicted by our landlord. I need to get myself and my mother moved out of here. If anybody could send me aid at shugamri@yahoo.com on Paypal, it would mean the world to me.

Since I have the time, this is what I shared with my friend @amaet about what is going on:

Since about late March or so, bedbugs appeared in my apartment. We don’t know where they came from, but we suspect most likely from the apartment below us. I and my roommates had been working on taking care of them, even tried calling an exterminator, but the exterminator wouldn’t come up to the third floor where my apartment is.

One of my roommates moved out early, so I invited a friend to take over the lease on the room. I didn’t tell him about the bedbugs because we had thought that we had gotten rid of them.

Over this past weekend they appeared in the new guy’s room, and he freaked out, because he apparently had a traumatic experience with them recently. He called my landlord, who messaged me, and I told him I had contacted a different exterminator and was actively taking care of it.

Today, after running away with a third roommate, the new guy called my landlord again, and tattled to him about how my disabled mom and her service dog had been living with me. My landlord freaked out, called me and demanded I get the dog out immediately. We did, giving her to a family friend, and my landlord sent me a text saying that if I ever have that dog again for any reason, I will be evicted immediately.

He then connected me with the owner of the exterminator company, saying “If (me) is lying about calling you I’ll evict him on the spot, but I believe him that he called you.” I confirmed my calls and messages, and the owner had his assistant immediately set up an appointment.

It’s going to cost $450 for the first visit, $75 for the follow up. Money that I don’t have, that I’ll have to put on my mother’s credit card.

When I called my roommate about tattling on my mom, he said “Well you’re going to he evicted anyway I didn’t see the point in not sharing that.” He had also previously complained to my other roommate about how I had “too much stuff”, ignoring the fact that that apartment has been my only home for 7 years, so everything I own is in my apartment.

So I’m dealing with the threat of eviction, this sudden bill, and sharing an apartment with a roommate who actively wants to get rid of me. I don’t want to live with that for another lease year, so I’m trying to find a new place to move to.

I am actively going to try and look for work in Southern Washington state, where friends and family are close by, but I need help getting myself and my mother out there.

If you could send anything, anything, to my PayPal at shugamri@yahoo.com it would mean the world to me. If you can’t send anything, please signal boost this. I need help, I need help taking care of myself and my mother, and any help you could give, financial or signal boost, I will be eternally grateful for.

If someone can lend a hand to my good friend, @tricornking, I will be very grateful.

Definitely worth a boost, please read!
