Recent highlights from the lively JPWF Amateur division with plenty of different competitors across plenty of weight classes.
Louise Santiago took a break from accepting matches for about a year, and returned to her Data Clerk position. Some recent car troubles brought Louise back into the fold as a full-time competitor and she was matched up against Beth Valdez, fresh off of an upset loss in a fundoshi match against Tomoko Yamada.
A Japanese-American lingerie model, Alicia Yamato comes in with a built-in fanbase. Yamato’s popularity immediately put her into makes against much larger opponents so she can dominate them to the pleasure of her admirers. Despite the weight and height disparities in every match. Alicia seems to win easily….Perhaps through bribes.
Jounichi Mai (shortened to Mai Jo for marketing) is a heavyweight who has been rising in the ranks after a match against the top heavyweight Dr. Valerie Wallace, M.D. With her cache against the doctor, Mai has chosen to rematch Quinn Balden again. Quinn is Valerie’s cousin and she was encouraged to lose to Mai as well.
Cassie has a match against Mai Jo, a heavyweight competitor who is quickly moving up the ranks of the Amateur division. Despite asking to rewrite the match, Cassie’s decision was vetoed. As they do with Cassie, the nerves took over midway through their contest.
