Stream Sketch #61 (mini-comic): Chie Loses the Women’s Title

If you can’t tell at this point from the Chie sketch, yes. I’m making a wrestling themed AU with @capnxero.  I’m super excited to add characters to this because on top of me doing the character designs, Xero is going to handle the bios and writing for the entire series!

Chie had a championship match with up and coming JPWF Intercontinental Champion, “Miss” Tifa Lockhart. A known face for a long time, most fans were expecting a clean cut victory for Satonaka. But after a no disqualification stipulation was added to the match, Tifa took immediate advantage, stripping off the champion and pounding her with relentless low blows until Chie had no choice but to lose and save the humiliation. Tifa turned heel to win the Women’s Championship from perhaps one of the most talented wrestlers in the federation.

To some, the prospects of a simple teacher are laughable, but when you live the life Tifa Lockhart has, it’s no surprise that a calm, simple life is more than anything you could ever dream of.  To those that knew her, Tifa was a shockingly perfect teacher, her once braggadocios and brawling nature seemingly non-existent, replaced with the kind, warm heart of a happy woman ready to help the children of tomorrow.  However, not even Tifa herself could manage to withhold her true nature forever.  At her very soul, that brawler’s nature needed to be let loose, though now in the right manner.  With some soul-searching, luck would find Tifa Lockhart squared within the squared-circle of the JPWF, where she would be able to let loose her fists in the greatest manner she could have ever thought was possible: For profit!  With enough time, Tifa managed to find her way into the mid-card, securing the coveted Intercontinental Championship, ensuring that she was still just as good with her hands as she was inside the classroom.

“Any ass willing to step up, be prepared to get knocked down! Just make sure none of my students hear that!”

Hana Song lived her life for competition.  To be able to go out into the unknown and make her name anything but that, which she more than succeeded in.  Though there was always an interesting tip-off in how secluded she was in regards to her personal life off the stage (Some rumored of Hana’s part-time fancy of being involved in some maid service), until she decided to join the JPWF.  It was there that a startling discovery was made, as now the world now met Hana’s twin sister, Lia.  While Hana was boisterous, braggadocios about her usual winning, Lia was more reserved, far more enjoying watching her sister’s success from the sidelines.  But the world of professional wrestling was one she loved forever, with Hana giving her the opportunity, there was no time to waste.  The Song sisters have now arrived in the JPWF, which spells disaster for everybody else.
